STRESS RELEASING EXERCISE

M i n d f u l   B r e a t h i n g
Brain requires much more oxygen, relatively, than any other organ of the body.  A lack of oxygen results in sluggishness, fatigue, confusion, disorientation and loss of mental balance, concentration memory and control of the emotions.

Mindful breathing brings you into this precious moment.  Many stress-related diseases are due to the shallow breathe.  As all we know breathing is the first thing we do when we are born and last thing we do when we die.  Mindful breathing is the foundation of all action.

Benefits:
  *  Strengthens your respiratory system
   *  Energizes and facilitates greater alertness to your body and mind
   *  Speeds healing on emotional and physical levels reducing stress

How to practice:
Begin by putting your knees, legs and feet together while supporting your body weight on the knees (As shown above).  Slowly sit back until you body weight is concentrated around your heels.  Your buttocks should be supported in the groove of your heels. Place your hands on the tops of your thighs, with the palms facing down.
Now, close your eyes and concentrate on breathing (inhale & exhale)  gently through your nostrils.    Repeat this process for at least three minutes.  You will slowly feel all the stress dissipate from your body and your limbs will feel brighter.

Pls. post your comments after practicing the "mindful breathing"
