1. Sit cross legged on a comfortable cushion and keep your body erect with abdomen pulled in and chest out comfortably. But be relaxed, do not tense your muscles too much
2. Close your eyes (helps u to concentrate on your breathing exercise)
3. Close the right nostril with the right thumb
4. Inhale slowly through the left nostril and fill your lungs with air
5. Close your left nostril with the ring and middle fingers of the right hand and open the right nostril. Exhale slowly and completely with the right nostril
6. Again inhale through the right nostril and fill your lungs
7. Close the right nostril by pressing it with the right thumb
8. Open the left nostril, breath out slowly (This process is one round)
Continue for 15minutes. You may take a minute's rest after every five minutes of exercise
Don't be confused. it's very simple and effective exercise...practice and enjoy the benefits...(it will bring your stress levels down and you will feel much better)
